He should audition for Rudolph the Red-eared reindeer. It's my favorite. Freakin' spiders.
Check under the box springs and see if the material that is covering the springs has separated. I did that once when Ashlynn kept getting bites. I found spider webs everywhere inside the frame. Freaked me out. Raid is your friend.

Find the spider. Make it bite the other ear. Then they'll match.
